Planning a girls’ weekend in Virginia wine country is your best idea all week. This bucolic mountainside is full of gems from exploring the trails to visiting the award-winning tasting rooms.

I highly recommend strolling through Crozet, dining out in Charlottesville, and hiking the trails in Shenandoah National Park. Virginia wine country is picturesque, from the rolling hills of grapevines to the sunrises over the Blue Ridge Mountains, which makes it the perfect getaway for a girls’ weekend!

The Monticello AVA, with a history of over fifty years, is celebrated for its unique terroir, passionate winemakers, and collaborative spirit. How it Works

First, determine how many people want to stay and a few good weekends. Most girls weekends are 3-8 adults. You can see our current availability online or email us to arrange a date. We’re open from February-November.

Once everyone has booked their room, we’ll help you plan activities based on your interests and budgets. Some things will need advance booking (private chefs, tours, etc) and others lend well to spontaneous thinking (wine tastings, breweries).

Pricing

February-August: $325/room/night

September-November: $365/room/night

Includes:

    • Daily breakfast, coffee, and tea
    • Complimentary movie night, complete with never-ending candy and popcorn

Tips for a girls’ getaway to Virginia wine country:

  • The area is car-dependent. If you don’t drive to the area, you will need to rent a car.
  • If you’re flying into Richmond or Charlottesville, it’s worth spending the afternoon touring the city.
  • Dogs are welcome to join! The area is very pet-friendly.
  • You’re welcome to bring any drinks or snacks but guests do not have access to the kitchen.
  • We can sleep up to 8 adults if two people share a bed. If your friends prefer not to share beds, you can book each room individually and sleep 4 adults. We can also fit a twin bed in the Zion room if needed.
