In July, we’re turning back time. The Indigo House’s adult summer camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains is all about having fun, meeting new people, and sharing memorable experiences with friends old and new. It’s also about escaping from your stressful day job, the daily mundane, and the fact that being an adult is SO HARD sometimes. It’s one part nostalgia and two parts exploration.
We’ve designed a one-of-a-kind weekend camp to help you leave the routine behind and embrace a sense of play. This year, summer camp is intentionally small, with only eight campers total.
We don’t want to overwhelm you with loud dance parties or overstimulate you so much that you need another vacation. Instead, we’ve crafted the perfect summer camp schedule with outdoorsy adults in mind, giving you plenty of time to play and relax. There’s even time for you to sample all the amazing local wine, beer, cider, and distilleries the area has to offer!
The Indigo House’s adult summer camp proves it’s still fun to be a kid again, but even better because you’re surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and craft beverages. You can participate at a level that works for you.

Have More Fun at Adult Summer Camp
At this adult summer camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains, there’s something for everyone! Some activities are designed for group participation and others can be enjoyed as solo or couples’ activities.
Take a long weekend vacation July 24-27 to enjoy an outdoor movie night, campfire s’mores, lawn games, a scavenger hunt, farm-to-fork breakfasts, local coffee, local beer, wine, and whiskey, a group hike, a glass blowing workshop, two dinners, and more. In addition to some friendly competition with onsite games, we’ll have an arts and crafts station for you to create at your own pace!
Rock climbing, horseback riding, and fly fishing can be arranged on Sunday afternoon for an additional cost if you’re feeling extra adventurous. Or, get into town a little early and enjoy a spa and pool day at Wintergreen.
Thursday's Activities (July 24)
Take a half or whole day of PTO, pile into the car, and arrive at the Indigo House!
- 3:00 pm Check-in and grab your welcome gift
6:30 pm Backyard BBQ dinner with yard games and more; beer and wine included
8:00 pm Movie night under the stars with popcorn and candy
Friday's Activities (July 25)
For our first full day of camp, enjoy group activities in the morning and evening.
- 9:30 am Breakfast
- 11 am Glass Blowing Workshop and lunch
- Afternoon free time to relax, try the craft beverages, or explore the area
- Dinner on your own at Blue Mountain Brewery, Three Knotch’d, or Devils Backbone Brewing
- 8:30-10 pm Campfire, s’mores, and whiskey tasting
Saturday's Activities (July 26)
For our second full day of camp, get outside and experience the best of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
- 9:30 am Breakfast
- 10:30 am Guided hike from Three Ridges Touring and snacks
- Afternoon free time! Campers have VIP access to a private waterfall 30 mins from the Indigo.
- 6:30 pm Pizza dinner with local beer and wine at the Indigo. Camp games like ladder ball, toilet paper derby, and an egg race to follow.
Sunday's Activities (July 27)
For our last morning of camp, you can savor your time at the Indigo or book an additional activity like rock climbing, horseback riding, or fly fishing before you head home!

About the Indigo House
Each morning, you’ll wake to the tastiest flavors of the season and a few throwback favs. Our simple and wholesome breakfasts highlight fresh, seasonal produce, Stephanie’s signature granola, local pastries, and eggs. It’s honest food that gives you tons of energy to play like a kid again.
Our sweet, national park-inspired rooms accommodate two adults and come stocked with the essential items for a luxurious stay, including some beloved, fresh mountain air. Each room is thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind to include a premium mattress, eco-friendly bedding, heating, and air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom, and a flat-screen, smart television.
Added bonus, unlike the summer camps from your childhood, you can bring your dog to this one!
Pricing and Availability for Adult Summer Camp
Camp is $1,840 per room, based on double occupancy. We have payment plans available!
Because we have four guest rooms, we have a limit of eight people for 2025’s camp. Availability is first come, first served.

To reserve your room for adult summer camp, a $400 nonrefundable deposit is required. The remainder of the cost is due two weeks prior to camp (July 10, 2025). Payment plans are available if you want to pay in installments leading up to camp.
Due to the nature of this event, no refunds can be granted (we have to pay vendors to secure their availability).
Sunday afternoon activities are an additional cost. Transportation to activities is not provided, but nothing is more than 30 minutes away. Access to EV charging is limited, so plan accordingly.
