You can check in on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Guided check-in is from 4-7 pm. After 7 pm, we’ll leave the keys for self check-in. Check out is 11 am.
Can I leave my dog at the B&B while we are out?
We trust you brought your dog(s) to the Indigo because you enjoy exploring together. But, quiet and well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in your room for brief periods. We are not a substitute for a boarding kennel. View our pet policy.
What kind of food do you serve?
Our simple and wholesome meals highlight fresh, seasonal produce. If you prefer a hearty breakfast, Bold Rock, Blue Mountain Brewery, and Devil’s Backbone serve brunch.
Is there a vet or pet store close by?
Waynesboro is 20 minutes away and has Target, PetSmart, Walmart and more. For vet services, there’s Animal Health Care Center in Waynesboro and Rockfish Valley Veterinary Clinic in Nellysford. In case of emergency, Greenbrier Emergency Animal Hospital (Charlottesville) and Veterinary Emergency Services (Verona).
If I have too much to drink, can you pick me up?
For insurance reasons, we cannot transport guests. We recommend Cville Hop On Tours and Monticello Wine Tour and Coach Co. for transportation services. Car sharing services are limited.
Can my child come?
We love kids; they just bring a certain contagious joy into a room, don’t they? However, we recognize that many are choosing to have a relaxing or romantic experience at the Indigo. As such, we are an adults-only property, unless you have booked the full house.
I want my whole family to come. Can we reserve the whole house?
We offer full house rentals, which are well suited for family shenanigans like playing flashlight tag in the Grove and making s’mores by the fire. Contact us for more information.
Why the name “Indigo House”?
For starters, it’s Stephanie’s favorite color. It’s also a nod to our time in Charleston, South Carolina, where indigo is part of the community fabric. Kyle and Stephanie spent over 10 years together there and it’s where we first had the idea to open an inn.
Why don’t you allow arrivals early in the week?
A limited number of businesses are open Mon-Wed and we want you to have the best experience when you visit. As a result, we recommend you stay for an extended weekend. If you need to arrive Sun-Wed, just contact us.
