Join us for a one-of-a-kind weekend, curated especially for two adults and your dog(s)! We have made it easy to plan your stay with our adults-only, pet-friendly weekend experiences.
Fourth Of July
Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with us! Enjoy a limited edition Liberty Hollow Ale upon arrival. On Saturday, explore Wintergreen’s 4th of July Jubilee (live music, ax-throwing, fireworks) with free scenic chairlift ride tickets*. And the fun doesn’t stop there! Our Founding Foragers VA250 passport trail takes you through the farms, orchards, cideries, and vineyards of Virginia’s Blue Ridge – the same ones that fueled American independence 250 years ago. On Sunday, enjoy breakfast and then linger a little longer with a late checkout.
*No dogs allowed on the chairlift.
Rock climbing, horseback riding, and fly fishing can be arranged for an additional cost if you want to add on a day for even more adventure!
Adventure Cat Takeover
Join us for the only cat-friendly days of the year on July 17th! This rate includes wonderful upgrades for the humans, like coffee room service each morning, popcorn and candy for a movie night, breakfast daily, and complimentary drinks. We’ll also provide fun things for your cat(s) such as a scratching post, treats, toys, and endless bird watching.

Additional activities not listed in each weekend experience can be arranged for an additional cost.
What airports are nearby?
You can fly into Charlottesville, VA (CHO) and rent a car. It’s about 45 minutes away from the Indigo House.
The Richmond airport is about 90 minutes away.
Will the itinerary change?
Many of our weekend experiences include partnerships with other vendors. It is rare that we’d have to change something last minute, unless there’s an emergency or weather permits it.
As with anything in nature, nothing is 100% guaranteed.
Terms & Conditions
A deposit is required to secure your room.
Due to the nature of these events, each weekend experience is nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend, you can transfer the experience to two adults. Please contact the Indigo House to arrange a transfer.

New Year’s Celebration
Ring in the new year with relaxation. We’ll have the fire pit going and not a firework in sight! Enjoy coffee room service, s’mores by the fire, bubbly, and a romantic dinner at Basic Necessities. We’ve also included complimentary late check-out so you can linger a little longer.
Looking for something a little ritzier? Just 10 minutes up the road, Veritas is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Masked Ball!
Valentine’s Day Getaway
Cozy up with your loved one and beloved pup for a romantic weekend retreat. Our Valentine’s Day Getaway includes “barkcuterie” (for your pup), local bubbly, flowers, and everything you need for an in-room movie night, even movie-theater style popcorn. On Saturday night, enjoy dinner from a private chef. We’ll drop off coffee room service each morning and include complimentary late check-out on Sunday.
Digital Detox Weekend
Disconnect to reconnect March 6-8, 2026. This weekend package includes a farm tour of Scottish Highland cows and a picnic lunch on Saturday, with plenty of time to unwind throughout the weekend.
How It Works: You can temporarily surrender your phone or other devices (even your room’s TV) for as much or as little time as you want. We’ll provide you with books, games, puzzles, paper maps, trail guides, and a disposable camera to enjoy your offline adventures.
UVA Grad Weekend
Why stay in a dorm room when your own laid-back luxury is just 30 minutes away from campus? Celebrate this milestone at the Indigo with a bottle of local bubbly, snacks, and late check-out.
Baby Goat Snuggle Sessions
Available every weekend in April! Snuggle Season is the term of endearment for the time of year when the baby goats are born. With this experience, you can visit our local goat farm to snuggle the babies, eat cheese, and enjoy a little slice of pastoral paradise.
Because you’re on an active farm, no dogs are allowed.
